In this debut collection of radical love poems, Alma Rosa Azul submerges the reader into her dream of a new world, a world where love, anarchy and poetry co-exist; a world where the molotov’s fly among the butterflies. Mariaposa is for the señoras, the activists, and for the delicious brown men we love so much we have to criticize their ways. These poems are for the people.
Alma Rosa Azul is a Chicana spoken word poet, community organizer, and artivist.
